We host monthly events in our tasting room at our Whisky Shop giving you the chance to experience and sample A D Rattray Whiskies and other guest brands.

APRIL
The Clydeside Distillery - Tasting Event
Saturday 26th April - 2pm - 3:30pm
£10.00 per person
Hosted by: Max Maartense – Clydeside's Brand Representative.
Join us in our tasting room where you will be welcomed with a whisky cocktail to sip while you learn all about our sister company, The Clydeside Distillery.
Then your host Max will take you through a tasting of the distillery’s new make spirit followed by a selection of Clydeside single malts. Experience how their new make spirit has developed and matured over time in different types of cask.
Plus get to try a ‘secret’ sample of an exciting new edition that will be released by the distillery later this year.
£10 ticket price is redeemable against a purchase of Clydeside or A D Rattray products in our shop on the day.

MAY
Lochlea Distillery - Tasting Event
Saturday 10th May - 2pm - 3:30pm
£10.00 per person
Hosted by: Patrick Dupuy – Lochlea's Brand Representative.
Join us in our tasting room where you will be welcomed by your host Patrick from Lochlea Distillery and learn more about this independent family-owned farm and distillery located in the heart of Ayrshire.
Experience their grain to glass philosophy as Patrick leads you through a tasting of their signature Our Barley, Cask Strength Batch 2 and a selection of their seasonal releases, inspired by the farming calendar.

JUNE
Cask Collection No.76 - Tasting Event
Saturday 7th June - 2pm - 3:30pm
£10.00 per person
Hosted by: Max Maartense – A D Rattray's Brand Representative.
Join us in our tasting room and try our latest Cask Collection release. This is the first exclusive chance to try these single cask whiskies before they are available anywhere else.
Take a seat in our tasting room and let your host Max take you through a tasting of 5 single cask whiskies. He will explain the reasons why we selected each cask for this collection, what makes each of these individual casks special and the journey we have taken them on over their years of maturation.
Highlights include a Ben Nevis 12 Year Old Bourbon Hogshead, Knockdhu 15 Year Old finished in a Moscatel Barrique and a Glendullan 14 Year Old finished in a 1St Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.

JULY
Gin Bothy - Tasting Event
Saturday 26th July - 2pm - 3:30pm
£10.00 per person
Hosted by: Carole Blair – Gin Bothy's Brand Representative.
Join us in our tasting room where you will enjoy a welcome drink to sip while your host Carole introduces you to The Gin Bothy.
Learn more about the bothy culture and traditions that inspired them to craft their hand batched spirits. And how their jam making roots helped them develop delicious fruit infused gins at their home in the Angus Glens of Scotland.
Carole will lead you through a tasting of gins and gin liqueurs, experiencing each one neat before adding mixers for classic serves and longer drinks.
